Presentation Guidelines
Introduction(5 points)  
  - has an opening statement
- states the topic
- states the focus of the presentation*
- gives a clear thesis statement**
- tells the audience how the speech will be organized
 
Body(5 points)  
  - follows the organizational pattern "promised" in the introduction
- uses one introductory sentence per each section (topic sentence)
- has a logical progression of ideas between and within sections
- uses examples from the negotiation to support ideas
- uses visuals (transparencies, posters) to explain ideas
 
Conclusion (5 points)  
  - summarizes the main points
- discusses weakness and/or strengths of conducting negotiations on the Web
- offers suggestions for the future
 
Language (5 points)  
  - uses vocabulary introduced in the module
- clear pronunciation
- easy to follow speed and volume of voice
- eye contact with the audience
- body language shows that the presenter is interested in the topic

** For example, states that the presentation was successful (or not) and that the opponent was an effective negotiator (or not), etc. Or that "Inspire is a useful tool for learning how to negotiate".
