Inspire User Statistics Who are INSPIRE users? Managers (25%), researchers (10%) and students (50%) are the primary users of INSPIRE, all with varying degrees of experience - from new negotiators to those refining their skills. The remaining 15% are Web surfers. Where are INSPIRE users from? As of October 1, 1998 we have had over 1,200 INSPIRE users. An interesting trend is picking up in terms of cultural background. The graph below indicates that most of our users (54%) currently reside in Canada. If this was taken at face value, then many of our users have had a significant dose of "Canadianism" in their lives. This would mean that their style of negotiating would be based on a North American pattern.
This initial perspective is altered once we look at Fig. 2. From this pie chart we notice that the percentage of people actually born in Canada is 21%. This difference is explained by the large number of Immigrants and foreign expatriates living in Canada. Thus, it is obvious from this exploratory data that the Research will have to look at other variables in order to define culture among users
